Rodents can be sneaky little creatures that often go unnoticed until the problem becomes severe. There are several signs that can indicate a rodent problem in your home or building. One of the most common signs is droppings. Rodent droppings are small, dark pellets that can be found near food sources, in cupboards, along baseboards, or in hidden corners.
Another telltale sign of a rodent infestation is gnaw marks. Rodents have sharp teeth that they use to gnaw on various materials, such as wood, plastic, and even wiring. If you notice chewed-up items or gnaw marks on walls or furniture, it's likely that you have rodents present.
Strange noises coming from walls or ceilings can also indicate a rodent problem. Rodents are active at night and may scurry around looking for food or nesting materials, causing scratching or squeaking sounds.
If you spot nests made of shredded paper, fabric, or insulation in secluded areas like attics or basements, this could be another sign of a rodent infestation. Rodents build nests to breed and raise their young, so finding one is a clear indication of their presence.
Lastly, if you see actual rodents running around your property or notice unpleasant odors coming from hidden spaces, it's time to take action. Rodents carry diseases and can cause damage to your property if left unchecked.
If you suspect a rodent problem in your home or building, it's important to address it promptly before the issue worsens. Contacting a professional rodent removal service can help eliminate the problem safely and effectively. Don't ignore the signs – take action to protect your property and health from these unwanted pests.
Having rodents in your home can pose significant dangers to both your property and your health. These pesky creatures can cause damage to the structure of your house by gnawing on walls, wires, insulation, and even furniture. This can lead to costly repairs and potential fire hazards if they chew through electrical wiring.
Moreover, rodents are known carriers of various diseases such as leptospirosis, hantavirus, plague, and salmonellosis. They can spread these diseases through their droppings, urine, saliva, and fur which can contaminate surfaces that you come into contact with. Inhaling dust particles from rodent feces can also cause respiratory problems.
In addition to the health risks posed by rodents themselves, they can also attract other pests such as fleas and ticks into your home. These parasites can bring even more health issues for you and your family members.
Therefore, it is crucial to take immediate action if you suspect a rodent infestation in your home. Contacting a professional pest control service to remove these unwanted guests is the best course of action to ensure the safety of your property and loved ones. Remember that prevention is key when it comes to keeping rodents out of your living spaces. Keeping food stored in airtight containers, sealing up any entry points into your home, and maintaining cleanliness are essential steps in deterring these pests from making themselves at home in yours.
When it comes to tackling a rodent infestation in your home, there are several steps you can take for DIY rodent removal. The first step is to identify the problem areas where rodents are entering your home. Look for cracks in walls, gaps around doors and windows, and any other openings that could be used as entry points.
Once you have identified these areas, seal them up using steel wool or caulk to prevent rodents from getting in. Next, set up traps in strategic locations around your home. There are various types of traps available, including snap traps, live traps, and glue traps. Choose the one that you feel most comfortable using.
Additionally, make sure to keep your home clean and clutter-free. Rodents are attracted to food sources and nesting materials, so be sure to store food in sealed containers and remove any clutter that could serve as a hiding spot for rodents.
Finally, monitor the effectiveness of your efforts by checking the traps regularly and disposing of any trapped rodents promptly. If you find that DIY methods are not working or if the infestation is severe, it may be necessary to seek professional help.
By following these steps and being proactive in addressing a rodent infestation, you can effectively remove rodents from your home and prevent future infestations. Remember that persistence is key when it comes to rodent removal, so don't give up if results aren't immediate. With time and effort, you can successfully rid your home of unwanted pests.

Rodents can be a nuisance in any home or business, causing damage to property and spreading disease. It is important to take proactive measures to prevent future infestations after rodent removal has been completed.
One of the first steps in preventing future rodent infestations is to seal up any potential entry points. This includes cracks in walls, gaps around doors and windows, and holes in the foundation. By making it difficult for rodents to enter your home or building, you can significantly reduce the chances of another infestation.
Keeping a clean and tidy living or working space is also essential in preventing rodents from returning. Rodents are attracted to food sources, so be sure to properly store all food in sealed containers and clean up any spills or crumbs promptly. Regularly taking out the trash and keeping outdoor areas free of debris can also help deter rodents from setting up camp on your property.
Regular inspections and maintenance can go a long way in preventing future rodent infestations. Check for signs of rodent activity, such as droppings or gnaw marks, and address any issues promptly. Consider installing traps or bait stations as a preventative measure, especially in areas prone to infestations.
In conclusion, taking steps to prevent future rodent infestations is crucial after removing these pests from your home or business. By sealing entry points, maintaining cleanliness, and conducting regular inspections, you can greatly reduce the risk of dealing with another rodent problem in the future. Remember that prevention is key when it comes to keeping rodents at bay.

I hired Campbell Natural Pest Control to inspect for pests. My experience with them was excellent! The service technician was on time, answered my questions, performed the items I requested and was very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend to others. Extremely happy with the service I received and will use them for any future needs.
I can't recommend this company highly enough - they deserve 15 stars. Austin, the owner, is a good communicator, friendly, kind and dedicated to customer service and success. I had an issue that two other pest control companies could not handle. Austin came in with a can-do attitude and a problem-solving mindset. My pests were both smart and persistent, and Austin made multiple visits (without tacking on extra charges) to completely solve my issue. Working with his company is easy and straightforward. I found Austin when I noticed his truck in my neighbor's driveway, and I only wish I had found him sooner. He's able to give strategic and personal attention to his clients that larger companies like Axiom are unable to provide. I sleep better now knowing my home is pest-free. Thanks, Austin and Holly!
Campbell Natural Pest Control is a great local business! They’re very responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, reliable, and clean. They go out of their way to accommodate challenging situations- that is precisely what a customer needs when dealing with a stressful and chaotic situation, like unwanted pests in the home. Isaac has been our technician and he is very friendly and approachable, someone you feel comfortable having in your home. Holly, who helps with inquiries and gets us scheduled, is kind and responsive as well. I highly recommend this small business for their excellent work ethic and prices, which are very reasonable. I’ve already recommended Campbell Natural Pest Control to a number of my neighbors!
If you plan on using this company, make sure to confirm they are using a natural product before they start treating the area. Unfortunately I came out mid process to find it’s just a chemical spray available at any big box store. The representative apologized and said he should have asked first, but if the company name is Natural, then it shouldn’t really have to be asked.
Holly got me set up for a same-day wasp removal at the advertised price and was happy to throw in some additional work (bait and perimeter spray) to help keep the ants at bay as well for no additional charge. Austin came out and took care of everything quickly and professionally. A great team.
